Anisomycin Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 bottle of saline,
  2. Anisomycin,
  3. 1N HCl
  4. 1N NaOH

Mixing Anisomycin (125 µg / µl) and Vehicle

  1. Put container on a weight and re-zero (tare)
  2. Weight 0.00625g of Anisomycin
  3. Put Anisomycin in tube (or just weigh it in the tube)
  4. Add 25 µl HCl and dissolve thoroughly
  5. Add 20 µl saline
  6. Set the pH to 7.2 – 7.5 with NaOH, first 2µl
  7. Test by putting 1µl of the solution on a pH value paper
  8. Set saline to the same value pH in the bottle

Double

  1. 0.0125 g anisomycin
  2. 50 µl HCl
  3. 40 µL saline
